What is IFIW?

IFIW 2026 introduces a brand-new format, creating even more opportunities for artists to showcase their work, gain exposure, and be discovered globally.

To celebrate fashion illustration in all its glory, this week-long event will showcase artists on an international stage. With IFIW 2026, it's never been easier to be seen!

Be Recognised as One of the Top 100

We are searching for 100 outstanding fashion illustrators from around the world to be featured across FIDA Worldwide platforms and our dedicated IFIW gallery.

This is your chance to share your work with an international audience of creatives, brands, industry professionals, and fashion illustration enthusiasts. Whether your work is digital, traditional, editorial, conceptual, or experimental, we want to discover artists who are pushing fashion illustration forward.

Global Submissions: All artwork is submitted online, so you can apply from anywhere in the world — no need to post your physical work.

Originality Matters: IFIW celebrates original work. AI-generated artwork will not be accepted, and artists may be asked to provide proof of creation.

New for 2026 — Every Artist Gets Featured

Every single artist who submits work to IFIW 2026 will be featured on our dedicated IFIW platform throughout the event. Your website and/or social media links will also be included, creating extra visibility and direct promotional opportunities for your creative practice.

New for 2026 — The People's Choice

For the first time, all submitted artwork will be featured online for the public to view and vote for their favourite artist. Share your entry with followers, friends, and family to encourage them to vote! The People's Choice Winner will receive a FREE 1-Year FIDA Project Membership and a special feature on the website.

What Can You Submit?

The brief for IFIW 2026 is simple — submit your own fashion illustration work, whether published or unpublished. We welcome a wide range of styles, techniques, and creative approaches, including:

Cool hunting and street style
Catwalk and runway illustrations
Red carpet events
Still life
Live event illustration
Editorial and magazine covers
Advertising campaigns

What Do the IFIW Top 100 Artists Receive?

All Top 100 artists will receive global industry exposure, including:

A feature in the IFIW Top 100 Gallery Showcase.
Continued showcase visibility after IFIW ends.
Active promotion across FIDA platforms to a worldwide audience.
Website and social links included to drive commission opportunities.
London Fashion Week Feature: One artwork will be specially selected by FIDA for a feature during London Fashion Week in September 2026.
